This Northville based digital media firm is gaining speed as a must hit resource.

While many successful businesses and companies are reaching out for support in the digital space, Prime Studios is making a name for itself as a supplier of digital media.

Prime Studios was started November 8, 2007 by Michigan natives Matt Gaidica and Brad Birdsall.The company is a digital media studio that works closely with clients to create more viable business solutions through the use of digital media. The company specializes in: web design and high resolution photography.

Both Gaidica and Birdsall attended Kettering University. Gaidica has a background in electrical engineering, focusing in software and optics. Birdsall graduated with a major in computer science, concentrating on web coding and development.

After almost two and a half years the company has grown into a respected web design and development company. Though Gaidica and Birdsall shared some of their educational years with one another, they became friends through business more than turning a friendship into a company.

“We had some great ideas, and had mutual respect for each other as an intelligent person and hard worker, and there’s not too much more to making money than those things,” explained Gaidica.
Prime Studios does not have a specific audience it is targeted towards but prefers to be diverse in their projects reaching out any and all audiences.

“Our inspiration comes from a lot of other people, we have a lot of peers and mentors,” said Gaidica.
Gaidica says, Kettering University and the Kettering Entrepreneur Society have been life changers that have provided funding, support and a great community.

Gaidica says the best aspect of Prime Studios is the team. “We are young, and I would like to think pretty smart and innovative.”

Prime Studios believes Michigan is a great community for starting a business. “A lot of people think a web-based business can just up-and-move at their will to anywhere, but we still have basic business needs like networking, community and value the importance of face-to-face meetings,” said Gaidica.

For all you Web lovers out there, Gaidica says to be smart, make sure to stay organized from square one, but most of all, get up and make it happen!

“Many times people get so stressed and bogged down with things they think they need to do, or that big business makes them think they need, that they lose focus on their work and building the skills they need to sell products/services,” Gaidica.
