31D Clothing Has All Of Detroit Looking Fresh

Showing pride in the city of Detroit isn’t hard to come by these days. Whether wearing a Detroit Red Wings jersey, or a Wayne State University T-shirt, Detroiters love to represent for the Motor City. 31D Clothing brings a fresh new twist on classic Detroit symbols with its line of t-shirts and more.

31D Clothing is the brain child of two University of Detroit Mercy graduate students. Bryan Dovichi and Justin Drilich, the founders of the company, were inspired to create the brand after making themselves two personalized t-shirts. They started receiving comments and requests on where to buy similar clothing items from people all over town. This duo knew they were on to something great and 31D was born.

Dovichi and Drilich state that the company's logo which melded two iconic emblems of Detroit, the old English D and area code 313, is the key to the brand. “The integration of these two symbols created an original, powerful, and eye-catching logo that we thought would look pleasing on a t-shirt," said Dovichi and Drilich.

In late 2009, the company started offering hooded sweatshirts, t-shirts and stickers for cars. The culture of the clothing is a great way to represent the state or area of where you are from.

With the heart of summer already here, Dovichi and Drilich have been swamped with orders. Dovichi and Drilich said, “The summer has been a busy time for us. With the state of the economy, we attempt to offer the highest quality merchandise at a price that is affordable for all, and so far, business is booming.”

31D was also featured in Detroit Me and Metromix. For more information about 31D Clothing or to check out their merchandise, click here.
