As a Senior Project Manager, you will manage Strategic Projects within the Global Service Architecture organization. You will take primary responsiblitiy for the overall management of projects and main client contact in the defined area of the business (Ad-Ops, North America). Additionally you add value by ensuring that the projects produced are of quality, and completed in a timely manner. In this role, you will display a proven track record of delivery of complex projects to agreed quality, time and budget specifications from initiation through to deployment using structured project methodologies as appropriate. You will have a proven history of managing global cross-functional project teams. Responsibilities:
- Partner with business function to help assess current and future business needs as well as assist in planning and executing project initiatives for area of responsibility
- Oversee all projects in area of responsibility; prioritize regional projects; and plan, lead and manage cross-functional project teams to deliver solutions that are timely, of high quality and cost effective
- Work with line managers to develop high-level requirements for business solutions as well as identify, define & present business cases for solutions to business problems
- Manage, control and be accountable for internal resources to deliver project objectives including managing feasibility studies to determine the viability of proposed changes or new systems
- Define and execute ‘business readiness & change’ strategies before going live (ie: testing, training, implementation & handover) to achieve successful transfer to functional owners as well as support the initial implementation of the change and resolve identified problems
Requirements:
- Bachelor degree (BA/BS) with strong academic background or equivalent
- At least 5 years of relevant experience either via IT, business analysis or operational management
- Strong project management skills; use of structured, formal methods e.g. PMI certification is preferred
- Displayed leadership and management skills and an understanding of our client’s needs
- Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and set priorities
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Self-managed proactive work style
