This new intern position will be part of developing an exciting new dealer financial reporting/accounting system called Dealer Business Intelligence (DBI) which is being launched globally. The individual in this position will assist the project team in the development of our DBI proprietary software.
Duties and Responsibilities: Under the guidance of a designated project team member, he or she will assist the team in a variety of capacities such as coding, testing, review, documentation, and project administrative duties.
1. Assist with the implementation of new features in the DBI software application.
2. Test completed development work, including identification of possible user actions and potential problems with existing design/functionality.
3. Utilize Visual Studio Team System to identify bugs/defects/problems with existing software applications and apply approved methodologies for correction.
4. Write necessary technical documentation in support of new and existing features within the application software.
5. Other duties as assigned.

• Familiarity with tools such as Visual Studio 2005/2008 , Visual Studio Team Foundation Server, , SQL Server 2005/2008,and MS Office 2007,
• Ability to perform basic Object Oriented programming is preferred
• Knowledge of relational database implementation is preferred
• Ability to program in C# is preferred
• Reasonable familiarity with .NET 3.5 framework is preferred
• Familiarity with HTML and XML is preferred
• Ability to perform basic Unit Testing
• Ability to prioritize to meet competing demands, manage multiple concurrent tasks and adapt to changing priorities
• Ability to collaborate, possess team orientation, and have dedication to meeting and exceeding the expectations of other team members

• Enrolled in Baccalaureate degree in computer science or related field at an accredited U.S. college or university, or equivalent foreign institution is preferred
• Experience with basic software development and testing methodologies (performance/load testing, scaffolding development, interactive development, configuration management)
• Experience with databases, programming, languages, and product development process is preferred
