Responsible for the visual design of brochures, web graphics, advertisements, newsletters, posters, and other collateral for Saint Mary's Health Care. Projects range from modifying existing artwork to conceptualizing and designing from concept to completion. Prioritizes work requests based on customer needs, job requirements, etc. Relies on limited experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. The intern will experience the pressure of deadlines, the importance of time management, the joys of graphic design and the supportive environment of enthusiastic teammates. The intern is encouraged to share ideas and take an active role in the communications and marketing team. Background Required: Previous scholastic and/or freelance graphic design experience required. Working knowledge of InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, Acrobat required. Work experience in an office environment. This is for students who will be receiving college credit for their internship.
