Hired By: Perrigo
Title: Conversion Analyst

Why did you choose this job? I chose this position because it provides me a great opportunity to build upon my skills and education. Because my position functions across departmental lines, it is a great way to quickly understand the operations of a company that has put itself in a strong strategic position for future growth.

What are your duties and responsibilities? My responsibilities include creating components in the material master and bill of materials to convert SKU’s for FDA required changes, customer design changes, national brand equivalent or market driven changes, while maintaining the corporate goal of a low percentage of material obsolescence.

What’s the best thing that’s happened to you so far since starting the job?
Collaborating on a project that will save the company a significant amount of money, right from the get go and working in a talented, professional, and enthusiastic team atmosphere.

What’s the best thing about working for this company?
The best thing about working for Perrigo is that they are truly committed to their employees’ personal and professional development, but strongly encourage and give every opportunity to pursue those opportunities, through on site professional development courses and tuition reimbursement. Also, I have only met really friendly people here.

Why did you choose to work in Michigan?
When I left Michigan, I went looking for paradise. Once I was gone I realized I had just left it. The seasons are great, and in the summertime there is no place more beautiful than West Michigan. Plus the people here are as warm and welcoming as people get.
